Would the old ship underneath the WTC still have been discovered if 9/11 never happened?

Highly doubt full. It's amazing that it was even discovered because of 9/11. They had to excavate a trench at the site back in the '60s so they could set the bathtub in place. And they didn't uncover the ship then. Once they started construction ontop of the bath tub that was it, no more interest in what might have been in the tub itself. Without having the excavate for 1WTC they'd never have discovered the wreck. Or maybe it was rediscovered, the wreck of the Tyger was discovered in 1916. Though they did discover a longboat they didn't know was supposed to have been there.
